Best Registry cleaner ?

I run under Win98.
What can you recommend for cleaning the registry (uninstallers leave a lot
behind them !)
I already have Regclean and Regcleaner ... Not good enough.

start up using the windows startup floppy
at the dos prompt type
a:\scanreg /fix

In addition to the above recommendation, in the future, try using the
program
Total Uninstall. It monitors and keeps a record of changes made during
installation of a program and does a very good job of removing all
traces of it when you decide to uninstall it.

RegSeeker. Jv16 PowerTools (newer than his Regcleaner). Plus, importantly,
the TUN habit, as recommended by Zo in this thread. Pricelessware.org.

There are also a few dedicated OLE cleaners, sometimes wildly aggressive,
for those who dare to venture into that jungle...

After using a reg cleaner, and doing many deletions, one might well want
to follow it with the w9x reg rebuild, scanreg/fix. But kritikul, please
don't continue tormenting me (chalkboard.fingernails) by calling that
operation a registry cleaner.
