Hi There

Can you give us some more details ? Is best-promos your
homepage when you open IE or does it come as pop-ups ?
Have you tried running a scan with MSAS in safe mode
(Reboot and keep tapping F8 then choose safe mode from
the list)

Has this problem just started and do you remember
downloading something to cause this ? There is a chance
you have malware on your system which has changed your
homepage so running a scan in safe mode may help. Also
using Ewido Security Suite might help you if you have a
trojan installed and finally Ccleaner to remove any junk
on your system. You would need to install and update
ewido and Ccleaner in normal mode then use it in safe
mode.

If you can give more details about the problem it may
help because Ive just visited the site you posted and Im
sure its not the cause of your problems they are probably
connected to what ever you have on your system maybe CWS
or LOP but really it could be anything.Try Ewido and MSAS
in safe mode and let us know the results

Hi,
If there is a solution I would also like to know. I have
www.the-best-promos.com coming as pop ups on my computer,
advertising pornographic sites, each time I access the
internet. It then closes down my browser. I have run
Norton Internet Security and Microsoft Spyware. Spyware
has picked up a file EGDACCESS_1061.dll but when I try to
delete it, I can't. I also ran a free version of
Lavasoft Adaware and this also seemed to locate this file
as a problem, but the scan hangs each time it reaches
this file. I am sure it must have something to do with
the problem, but am no expert.
Can anyone help?

Please restart in safe mode by pressing the F8 function key as the machine
restarts.

then scan with Microsoft Antispyware and Norton in safe mode.
