: I have a question regarding best practices for naming a new Active
: Directory domain. The windows domain will be internal to our LAN only
: and will not be accessible from the outside. This however may change
: therefore my questions are should we use a domain name containing a
: fake TLD, such as mydomain.inc or mydomain.local OR should we register
: a domain within a real TLD (.com) and use it for our Active Directory
: FQDN?
:
: thanks in advance,
