best practice for connection string for form?

I have a couple of Outlook forms that play a part in a larger application.
Currently, we have hardcoded the database connection string on those forms.
However, I would prefer to have it be something that can be more easily
configured without having to change the forms' code (or have any install on
client machines). Is there a place in Exchange where configuration data can
be stored centrally and retrieved by code in a form?

You could use CDO or Redemption to create a hidden message in a public folder.
