Looking to get true ATI brand 9800 PRO 128mb. Also considering the
All-in-wonder model. But the regular 9800 PRO might suffice.

I see eBay prices in the upper 290's and newegg at $365 or so. Any
respected dealers with new retail product in the lower $300's ??

Thx in advance

All things considered, you're probably going to get the safest deal from
Newegg. I'd be very careful when buying from low feedback sellers on eBay
who seem to be offering exceptional deals. Also be careful with sellers who
want cash or money orders only. If things go wrong, you're out your money
and the eBay guarantee is a joke. If you do buy on eBay, pay by credit card
or PayPal only. Then, you do have some protection. Not every seller on
eBay is a crook, but there are many.

Considering the card itself: how will you know you're getting an unused,
never-overclocked card? How will you know it's not a flashed non-Pro,
particularly if the card comes without a box. Ask yourself this: How can
anyone sell a new, in warranty 9800 Pro for significantly less than a big
volume, discount retailer? Perhaps the answer is that lots of people have
access to shrink wrap machines.

absolutely use paypal, just sent a check to a guy for a GF4 $43 now hes
saying he never got the check and wants to reauction. can we say welcher ?
ebay is a jungle, many parts are broken, many sellers are crooks. Make sure
they have excellent feedback, take paypal, and you are good to go ~

I agree, newegg is the best

Yep, NEWEGG or MWAVE.... my primary suppliers, both great companies, never
had a problem with these west coast guys... as for the East coast,
specifically the NE, all kinds of probs... check out
