Well it depends a little bit on how many photos you have. I would recommend
DVDs which will fit quite a few photos (4,7 GB) or external HDD which are
available in sizes up to several hundred GB. I am using an external HDD with
250 GB which is connected directly to our network at home. it is convenient
also when backing up photos and other files I have on my computer. Every once
in a while I burn a DVD too just to have some simple media with all photos
saved. A HDD external or internal might fail after all and I don't want to
jeopardize the family photo collection...;-)
Thanks, Hannes. Don't have a DVD burner yet. Will consider that as an
option. I, too, don't want to risk losing my family photos. I've been
saving them to CDs but wondered if there was a safer way. I'm actually
making copies of copies.
