Best hardware bought recently

Did post a thread earlier on this but deleted it.
My best bit of hardware bought recently was a usb external 80GB hard drive for £49, it takes all applications, software, drivers and test software so it does not conflict with what i run on my main pc. Also if i work on someone else's pc i have all the little extras i may need.
 
9lb lump hammer ... I just threaten any PC these days ... usually works too. :D


To be honest I really havent got a "best" hardware ... everything compliments something else ... I have a Best Software. :)

Argh the trusty lump hammer, always a good tool when i worked in logistics, if it didn't start you hit it, at least it made you feel better. Can't do that with PC's, seems to do a lot more damage:D

Never actally hit a PC with it ... but you can have a good laugh with any "customer" by slaming their "faulty" HD on the desk ... their face is a picture.

Yep, got it off my Father, it was then enhanced by the kids, and then some more by the grandkids ... but some say I was born that way anyway. :D

Yeah, been told that I was nuts ever since they let me out of primary school. But then... who would want to be ordinary? :p

Me, I don't need the hammer... mine is a laptop & it knows I would love to find out if it can fly...

my best hardware purchase recently was a new graphics card. upgraded from an Nvidia 4800ti se to a 6600gt, made a huge difference and was a bargain! also went from 512MB to 1GB RAM, that put a smile on my face and all for under £150 :D
 
laptop

Laptop, well ok it was being thrown out as major problems with it, spent 4 hours sorting things out and deleting the ntfs partions back to fat32 & i have a machine that works, may be slow, it's a p2 233, but it works.:thumb:
