Probably a newb question but...

I am doing a rebuild to prep for Vista.

Currently I have a Raid 0 config of two 74gb raptors.

I think I read somewhere that for OS a single drive is better so I am think
of adding a single 150 Raptor, keep the 74s as a Raid0 for data.

Any opinions?

I think Raid0 doubles your chances of being Totally Screwed(tm).
Do you really need a 148G volume? If not, split em into two, if you
only need 74G run raid-1 mirroring and greatly reduce your chnace of
being Totally Screwed(tm).

Best Regards,

It does. If you care so little about your data, the set-up does not
matter that much anyways....

That is what I would do. Speed is nice, but reliability is essential.
