In your opinion what is the best graphics PC game that is out right now.(Not
whats coming out). I would have to say Elder Scrolls 3 :Morrowind. If you
think there is some better graphics games plz post them and what made you go
"Oh my god, this is grrreat".

I was fairly impressed by SWG and Neverwinter Nights. My favorite part of
SWG is seeing all of the creatures/droids. Favorite part of NWN is watching
the spells being cast. However Morrowind is my current favorite. GTA Vice
City and Postal2 were kinda neat, as well. Oh, and Hitman2, Splintercell,
and Rainbow six 3...lol more I think about it, more I come up with....I give
up.

Probably Splinter Cell for its shadows, infrared vision and water, its
just a shame the gameplay isn't as impressive.

Need For Speed Porsche 2000. That game hasn't dated in 4 years of playing,
fantastic. Even now I still go back to it......

Shinobi & Gauntlet 2 :-)

Seriously though, I think Splinter Cell and Medal Of Honor
(the Omaha beach landings level is an absolute stunner)

No One Lives Forever 2 had some pretty clean looking levels. Morrowind was
just awesome as well.

The question would of been bettr phrased as:
which DirectX 8 or later game is best graphically.

I'd nominate:
UT2003/ Unreal 2
Dungeon Seige - Even though it's a DX7 game.....
Return to Castle Wolfenstein

But seriously - ALL modern 3D games graphical loveliness depends upon the
way they were coded. Quake3A was great graphically when details are really
turned up, but flys on ALL modern cards.

I'm looking forward to:
Dungeon Seige 2
Doom 3
Half-Life 2 makes big promises too.

Half-Life 2 promises to make massive use of full DirectX9 capability, with
fall back onto Dx7 features on older cards.

Right now, I'd have to say Tron 2.0 Definately does a good job of
capturing the feel of the movie... The glow effect is quite good, although
on a few levels it can be very hard to see the walls, as the glow effect
almost overwhelms, or the black is *too* black. Especially the Thorne
partition and internal partition levels....

I would say that Unreal 2 is technically superior to NOLF 2, but the
latter has the edge as far as level design and artwork. As far as RTS
games go, C&C:Generals looks pretty impressive as well.

Freelancer looks pretty good, and along the same vein, I'm looking
forward to X2.

I haven't got the expansion , is it much better than the original?
I think so,it seems to run much smoother and the AI is much improved, well
worth buying as far as I'm concerned.
