Best free web site stats app?

Hi...I know in the past I've seen posts here on varied free web site stats
software but can't seem to find the right search term on Google Groups to
find them. I have stats available now with my suscribed server but they
are updates are becoming available later and later plus I'd like to see
what else is available than the awstats used by my server. One post said
all the needed scripts are available at perlarchives.com but while I do
have a perl forms script working on my site I'd rather find something less
"grass roots" that would give an easy to read report. I don't know what
other stats than those used by awstats are available and I guess I want to
make sure I'm not missing out on some useful stuff. Suggestion for search
terms other than "best web site stats" or use experiences would be welcome.
I did post a version of this on the seo group but thinking about it after
decided that was not the appropriate place so I hope this won't be mistaken
as blatant cross posting.

Analog is the best freeware I ahve seen for this. No frills web stats.
