Best free spyware/virus protection programme?

im just wondering what the best free spyware/virus protection programme is that can be downloaded off the net?

And also, is norton anti virus any good? Everyone tells me its awful yet its said to be amazing, however when i had lots of trojans and other spyware on my comp one time it only picked up 2 out of 148

Avast or AVG or Anti-vir take your pick all are good IMHO....

Speaks for itself dont it it is AWFUL........

I use Avast (anti-virus)

AND Spybot Search & Destroy (anti-malware)

AND a-Squared Free (anti-Trojan)

All are free downloads. :thumb:
 
Microsoft Defender also seems like a good Anti-Spyware product, and that is free :)

SAS Superantispyware is the best Antispiware program in my opinion,

I have recommended it in other forums were spybot Adaware etc has not been able to remove the infection,

Very good and free,
