Best free, secure Web server? (aside from Apache)

Can anyone recommend a good easy-to-configure and SECURE Web server? (not
counting Apache, which I think is for advanced users).

I currently use HFS, but it is not optimized for hosting sites although it
is good for sharing files. I am also not sure about how secure it is.

IBSERVER is something I just ran across and hope to experiment with. It
claims to be a self-configuring system server consisting of Appache, MySQL,
and PHP. Find it here: http://ibsoftware.d2digitalmedia.com/ibserver/

Otherwise, Sourceforge (.com) is loaded with small, simple servers.

It wouldn't be wise to drop the _best_ server software you can get
because it looks too advanced.

Really, go for Apache, it is NOT hard to configure and the default
settings will mostly cover your needs. It's just a matter of using
the installation program, and then change the DocumentRoot to
wherever you want the webserver to start out.

It's not because it doesn't have a fancy GUI, that it's hard to
use...
