I am looking for the best settings to capture regular tv (from a satellite
stream) with my AIW 7500. The site
http://www.digitalfaq.com/capture/atimpeg/atimpeg.htm claims that 358x480 is
the best resolution for satellite captures, however, the picture looks a bit
fuzzy at that setting. Also, I am confused by the dimensions. Shouldn't
the width be bigger than the height? So anyways, I am looking for the best
resolution that will produce optimal results, and if you set it any higher
will not produce much better results. Any ideas?

Don't know what is best. For NTSC I use 480X480(SVCD). Looks like the
original to me and anything better is a waist of disk space. I've seen a
lot of recommendations and none agreed so just picked what worked for me and
doesn't require conversion. You'll lose some quality if you have to convert
it to another format and recompress it.
