Once a project is finished in movie maker.I go to file save movie file. It
gets me to window called movie location. I am choosing option to save movie
for copying to recordable CD. The I am saked to enter the file name and name
for the CD.The next option is choices if I want Best fit recordable CD, Best
fit by size or other. I am choosing other because I want DV-AVI. Whe you
choose "fewer choices in the drop window. The option for DV-AVI is not there.
The tutorial under MY videos problems on how do I save my movie as a DV-AVI
file demostrated this on a video clip. There are 8 other choices. These are
Video for local player(2.1 mbps),(1.5mbps. Video LAN(1.0 mbps),768,Vioe
Broadband,Video local playback at 2.1 and video local playback at 1.5. But no
DV-AVI choice? How do I correct this? Can anyone explain to me what all the
other choices are for? Or does oneof those choices the same as a DV-AVI? The
more I inquire the more complexthings seem to be getting. Help!!!!

Try the following steps:

Type...Ctrl+P to open the Save Movie Wizard /

Choose...My Computer /

Next /

Enter a Name and a Save Location /

Next /

Show More Choices /

Other Settings /

Open the drop window and choose...DV-AVI /

Next /

Wait while the movie is saved /

Finish...
