I haven't Googled this yet but need to find one immediately. If anyone
knows a scanner with really good OCR capabilities that's not USB, I'll
consider that too.

Why do you not want USB? Nearly every new scanner made today is USB.

If your computer does not have USB, you can install a USB 2.0 PCI card.
