Hey all,
I am looking for the best anti-malware combination anti-virus program
available.
I do not mind a yearly subscription in exchange for safety.
Also what is a good backup software to use with an external hardrive
where I can backup several computers to one location with incremental
backups?

Thanks

Tony

I'm partial to Kaspersky. But you can't go wrong by picking
from Kaspersky, Nod32, or Avira. Just make sure you know if
you want to get a suite or just the AV package. The suite
will comes with a firewall and such. Some other people in
the group don't know the difference.

As far as backup software, thats hard to say. Are you
wanting to image a whole harddrive or just backup certain
files/folders?

I am looking to make a backup image of hard drive once I have all
basic drivers and software installed... Would prefer something that
lets me make bootable CD/USB to restore image to hard drive.

Thanks

Tony

I've been using Acronis True Image Home for about 2 1/2 years and so
far it's been completely reliable. Rather than list the features here,
I'll direct you to the product's home page.

Check out the free trial to see if it does everything you want.

No affiliation, just a very satisfied customer.

Acronis True Image will create a backup and will create a rescue CD.

I have used it for years. I cannot tell you how many times TI has saved
me from having to reinstall Windows plus the tons of stuff I have on my
comp. It is one of those ABSOLUTELY MUST HAVE! proggies.
