The burned out match portrays the fact that Firefox has been tried, used,
and has burned itself out.

This has become evident by the fact that it has been proven to be just as
buggy and insecure as any other browser despite the best efforts of the
developers. Furthermore, its marketing has been a fraudulent sham from day
one which is why I often refer to that browser as Firefraud. :-)

It is also interesting to note the Firefraudsters like to brag about their
support for the W3C standards but adopted Microsoft's innerHTML attribute of
the DOM anyway. Is innerHTML an attribute or a property? I do not recall the
distinction. The point is innerHTML has not been adopted by the W3C but
Firefraud supports it anyway. Why? Because the W3C is a committee whose work
is often not timely and in fact can be biased. When all is said and done
somebody has to innovate and lead the way so we can get things done and the
Firefraudsters do not like to admit that they too bend the so-called rules
when it is in their best interest to do so.

This isn't the right place to discuss the issues, so I won't do so.
Suffice to say, there are answers to all your points - I suggest that
if you're actually interested in them, you ask in a browser newsgroup,
or even a Firefox mailing list.

In the meantime, I'll just keep enjoying using Firefox...

Same here.

And the arguments can be switched right around, if you take one good look at IE 7. But we'll save that for another forum. ;-)

mmhh...
I will take this opportunity to wonder..
Why is it that Europe uses mostly Java & Firefox
And America (and Australia) use mostly .NET & IE?
(I speak rough average here).

Might it be for the most part that Europeans have become socialist
communists and Americans and Australians have become fascist capitalists?

mmhh... might be ;-)

Hey, I'm so happy to have migrated to fascist capitalist society! :D

Clinton,
Might it be for the most part that Europeans have become socialist
communists and Americans and Australians have become fascist capitalists?

Please don't start with creating messages which make that people start to
believe that all what you write is s**t. I like your more serious messages,
although I don't always agree with you, are you now quiet nice corresponding
in it.

I agree with Jon that we should not make this newsgroup as a kind of chatbox
for everything that we see from Microsoft.

So although they are nice, stop sending those if it is not directly related
to dotNet. Not everything from Microsoft is dotNet so don't mix it up. (If
you have something like that about dotNet I will be glad to see that if you
show it).

To fulfil direct the other question about the USA and EU, AFAIK is there no
difference in the use of general purpose Microsoft products between the
states in those.

Thanks in advance,

Cor

Well, you do not understand the facts Cor. Did you know Microsoft and other
vendors are giving away their products to Communists and also selling their
products at a lower cost to the Communists when Americans have to work
harder to pay more for the same products and can be arrested for not paying
for the same software that is being given away to Communists? There are many
reasons this is occuring but they are OT but the fact that they are
occurring is in general an issue that is within the scope of this newsgroup
as I will explain more about later.

You see, being ignorant of the facts is one thing but to deny the facts is a
lie and I don't and won't be told what to think by anybody that is a liar.
That is what freedom and liberty is all about. Americans manage their own
decisions. At least that's the way it has been and many of us will resist
anybody's attempt to take our freedom and liberty from us. The Australians
are also a freedom loving people but it also seems they are losing their
freedoms and liberties too as globalization is tryng to force people to
accept fascism and socialisty communism.

Furthermore, the ad is about .NET in general but advertises support for .NET
in an indirect manner. It is a lie to suggest IE has nothing to do with
..NET. Don't blame me if you do not have the ability to see the forest for
the trees which is a polite way of saying you are narrow minded and not able
to 'see' and understand what the advertising actually means and intends to
convey. Advertising used pyschological messages to effect the thinking of
those who see or hear the advertsiting and advertising is often not
understood by narrow minded people which is why advertising works so well.
People can be manipulated without ever realizing they have been manipulated.

And just in case you really are a moron who does not understand English well
enough -- yet -- the name of this group is .general and the word 'general'
means all things relevant to the context of .NET. That includes the use of
the IE browser which can be integrated and interoperate with .NET
applications. Furthermore, IE7 extends .NET integration and interoperability
to a greate extent. At least it is being 'advertised' to do so which is what
I believe S.M. Altaf was getting at. That's why I posted the topic here
rather than another group. So get some more education before trying to give
somebody a lecture okay? Because you do not understand the meaning of
English words -- yet -- is not my problem.

Yes, except you may not understand what is really going on in America. The
fascists have taken control of the nation so they can control who can and
who can not work without their permission. For the time being, software
developers have not been required to be licensed but trust me. They are
trying to force everybody to get a license from the state so they can
control who can and who can not work.

Meanwhile, enjoy your freedom and liberties here as they are being taken
away and may not last long.

Maybe tommorrow you will find it again. Look up the meaning of the word
'general' in a dictionary that explains how the word can be used as it has
several meanings.
