Can I please have your recomendations on the best access book for learning
this program?

Litwin et al.'s Access 2002 Desktop Developer's Handbook, or the
appropriate prior edition if you have an earlier version of Access. I
don't know if there is a version for Access 2003 out yet, but the new
version of Access is not (except in certain very specific areas) very
different from the 2002 version.

Can I please have your recomendations on the best access book for learning
this program?

First it would be a good idea to learn something about relational databases.
Rebecca Riordan's "Designing Relational Database Systems" is a great start
up book as is Michael J. Hernandez's "Database Design for Mere Mortals". For
Access 2003, I'd recommend "Access 2003 Inside Out" by John L.Viescas

I cannot agree with Mr. Meyer more strongly. If you
don't learn something about relational databases first
you can become a great Access developer but you will be
developing polished shi*. Really. I took a database
class at the local community college and I know now that
what I developed last year is swill.

You are quite right that one should start by learning about relational
databases. Chapter 4 in Litwin et al.'s book is one of the best short
introductions to relational ratabase design for mortals that I have
run into. The Viescas book is good, too, and should be considered - I
prefer Litwin's style, but tastes differ.
