These guys have benchmarked a leaked alpha of STALKER Oblivion Lost.
Looks like most current video cards will run it just fine:

it runs well indeed, but I don't know how much of it is because of that
top-tof-the-line CPU
the soundcard they use is a big resource hog though, based on
firingsquad.com's benchmarks (eats up to 30% of performance)

1600x1200 with 4xaa and 8xAF:
98 fps with radeon 9800pro

1280x1024 with 4xAA and 8XAF:
63 fps with radeon 9600pro
120 fps with 9800pro

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3200+ (overclocked to 2.20GHz, 1MB of L2);
Mainboard: ASUS K8V Deluxe (VIA K8T800);
RAM: Corsair XMS PC3200 512MB (2x256MB, 2-3-3-6);
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.7, 8MB cache, Serial ATA-150;
Audio: SoundBlaster Live;
Software: Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP1, DirectX 9.0b;
Drivers: latest officially released WHQL drivers from various vendors.

Looks quite good, and if you see with the current games already. ...
they are not programming to get the max out of the LATEST hardware,
they also must ensure that on ..older hardware ( 2 years old orso ) it
still will run fine if ... settings are set a bit lower.

That is how they always worked ..and that is how it works this time
to.

Stalker looks great by the way!

Remember that these test were done on an alpha version wich lacked most
advanced rendering functions, such as dynamic lightnig, bumpmapping etc.
So all benchmarking results should be taken with large grain of salt...

ok, I already thought that the >200 fps results were a bit odd

Yeah , the alpha is the engine build for 2002 , plus theres no AI or HQ
sound which may drag the final FPS down further.
