OK. I promised I'd post fresh Sandra2004 results for Mr. Pope. What I'm
looking for is an interpretation of these numbers. Yes - I realize they
reflect some sort of performance eval, but with just one set, I have no
basis for comparison.

CPU Arithmetic Benchmark
Combined index : 11256

CPU Multi-Media Benchmark
Combined index : 38894

Memory Bandwidth Benchmark
Combined index : 5490

File System Benchmark
Combined index : 29269

Network/LAN Bandwidth Benchmark
Combined index : 10160

Combined Performance Index Wizard
Combined index : 2315

How did I do? Are the specs of my [recently-built] system significant? If
so, naturally I will provide same.

I'll be happy to provide my numbers, too, for reference. Can you post
your system stats for those of us that missed the original thread (I
couldn't find the original in google groups).

Sounds like about a 3200+ (200MHz FSB) to me.

Sandra includes enough test results for comparison.

I don't like Sandra for benchmarking much, it's mediocre for most things.
