I need some help in trying to configure the "Belkin Router 802.11b" to work with AOL. I'm using Windows XP. For some reason it just won't work. Would someone please help.

Secondly, what program to I use to open a .bin file. The file was supposed to help with the configuration of the router, but I don't know how to open it. The file name is: FSD6231-4 I got it from the belkin site.

Thank you,
Miek

It may be best to go to the support site for AOL or give us more information
about exactly what problems you're having.
I don't know your particular router but that sort of extension would lead me
to believe it may be a firmware update. Updates are usually done from the
router configuration screens(accessed via a web browser). There's usually a
fimware update section that asks for a file name. Check your router manual
for details about your own model.

You are using DSL I assume?

You need to give the router a username and password that is valid so that it
can talk to AOL. Just create an account just for this.

Here is the link for the Belkin support document that tells you how to get
it to work!
