I am trying to install the subject device and keep getting a message that an error occured
This is my second device. I returned the first and exchanged for a replacement. I tried loading the vendor software with the same results. I downloaded the vendors driver, which were exactly that same as I received on their Install CD

Windows XP Pro, IBMMT-M8307-82U. I have downloaded all updates that Miscsoft says belong on this machine
I have tried installation with and without vendor software

BELKIN USB 2HS-CF USB DEVIC
An error occurred during the installation of the device
One of the filter drivers installed for this device is invalid

The only option button available is 'Finish' , the two other buttons are grayed( not active
