i have just been moaned at by my pa and he thinks i spend more than 12 hours on the computer (i dont ;)) . which brought me to think, how long do you all spend on your pc a day?

Depends, but probably 6+ hours a day depends what i'm doing:user:
 
Recently, most of the day :eek:

Ususually maybe 6 hours - cor thats alot still! :eek:
 
If other people sit on the computer more than you do does not mean your sitting on it for long hours has any justification. There is a limit to how much we should use the for as far as time is concerned and most here exceed that limit and there is no denying that. You Pa is absolutely right when he says you spend more time on computer, he is saying it because he is your true well wisher, you should not take it otherwise. I do not have a right to tell you how you should use your computer and how much time you should be spending but me and your Pa are in the same boat, we care about you ;)

I am equally guilty of spending too much time on this thing and I admit it is not a good thing in many ways, the list could be very long but you know what I mean.

There is a thread in the archive where same question was asked, infact it was a poll and some very interesting posts were made, do a search and read up on that, you will get to know a lot about how most members here think.

Actually, it's not unusual for me to spend 12-15hrs behind the screen. :o

The annoying thing is, i dont actually spend alot of time on here. not even in the holidays when im bored out my wits.
 
These days it's so variable any average would be very misleading. On weekends generally not at all or just a quick scan of my email. John's at home on weekends so I mostly like to spend that time with him. During the week it can range from 1hr - 8hrs but is usually around 4ish. Although this last week, with us all having the flu I've not been on at all most days. I hate being sick :mad:
 
I probably spend 9-10+ hours a day on bloody computers. Thing is at home I should put it to use a bit more but end up gaming, aimlessly browsing the web. If I was a bit more productive i.e. coding, learning etc.. then I wouldn't mind so much.
The thing is there just arn't enough hours in the day as far as I'm concerned.

3 or 4 hours?

Depends what im doing in the day, and how late i stay up.

At the moment im maintaining a fleet of cars for a company just in the easter hols... and then working sainsbury's on top of that. So not that long at all.
