Beginning date is always NOW

When I make an appointment anywere in the future I click in the calendar.
Unfortunately the beginning time is always more or less NOW.
When I plan something for May 31st, 10.00-11.30 am, the end time after
editting is the 31st of May, 11.30 (ok!), but Outlook corrects the
beginningtime to today, so now: March 9th, 1800 pm.

I can't find any label, click, mark or something stupid in the program to do
this the way I want to have it: an appointment of 90 minutes in stead of an
appointment of > 2 months

How to correct?

Andre

What happens if you manually change the start date to May 31?
