Hello
I just got a new 22" monitor, which my Nvidia Quadro FX3000 is able
to drive without problems (I'm not a gamer - just regular office type
applications user).
Instead of eBaying my old 17" monitor, I thought maybe I can use it to
increase my monitor real estates. But when I hooked it up to the
second DVI port on the FX3000 card, everything just slowed down to a
crawl, obviously the card can't handle 2 monitors.
Do you think it would help If I installed a second PCI video card? I
don't have any experience building systems so I've no idea if that
would work. Also, my system manual says that I have slots of type:100
MHz/64-bit PCI-X, are these regular PCI, or PCI-Express-2.0, or PCI-
Express-x1, or PCI-Express-x16 ?
THANKS!
System Info: WinXP Pro. Dual AMD 248 Opteron. 2GB Ram. nvidia quadro
