I am looking for C# tutorials that are good for complete novices - I mean no
experience of Visual Studio, never mind no experience of C# or .Net

Can you recommend any good places to start? A general web search is quite
overwhelming, so I would appreciate if anyone here could help steer me
towards some of the most appropriate resources.

Thanks in advance

Same request, for VB... especially any tutorials that include walkthroughs
of things like developer's interface options, how to debug on a device
instead of on the virtual PPC, stuff like that. I've done some VBA in Excel
so I understand programming logic, but am new to the CF language and
interface. Prefer online/interactive type tutorials, although a book that
isn't too basic or too advanced would be ok too. I can write a "hello world"
program for my IPaq, but it is kinda like driving a car without knowing what
any of the dashboard gauges mean...
TIA,
Keith

Thanks - that second one in particular looks like a great start.

Hmm - actually it quickly stops teaching and starts handing source code for
you to pick over. Even though many of us are used to discovering
information, that's not teaching. For someone like me who knows nothing of
this sort of development, the usefulness of dotnetspider falls away to zero
after the first 4 chapters or so. I am sure I will return there to unpick
the code once I have actually learnt something ...
