Need to make monthly calendars with beginning dates other than the first.
In other words, the first Monday of the calendar period might begin in the
Monday space but the day date might be the 3d and the ending date would be
on a Friday four weeks later. I can make this on the screen but it prints
out with a full calendar month, 1 through 31. I do not show weekends either

If I understand your request, you want a monthly calendar to begin on the
first Monday of a month ....

Try this to set the calendar to begin on a Monday (or whatever day you'd
like):

In Calendar, click on the "Tools" menu and then "Options". Select "Calendar
Options" and then set the "First Day of the Week" to Monday. Click "OK" twice
to get back to the Calendar. This will set the begining of your "week" to
"Monday."

Then, to print a monthly calendar beginning on the first Monday of the month:

File, Print, select "Monthly" in the "Print Style" drop- down list.

Then click "Define Styles" just to the right. Select "monthly" and then
click on "edit."

Remove the check mark from "Don't print weekends" by clicking on the box.

Remove the check mark from "Print exactly one page per month" by clicking on
the box.

Click "ok" to close that box.

Click "close" to close the previous box.

You should now be back at the "Print" box with your printer selected, and
with "Monthly" selected. In the "Print Range/Start" box, enter the date of
the first Monday (for Jan 2006 it would be "Mon 02/01/2006"). In the "Print
Range/End" box enter the date of the last Monday of the month (for Jan 2006
it would be "Mon 30/01/2006").

You can select "Print Preview" to make sure it looks good. (If the preview
is too small to read, click on the magnifying glass icon in the top row to
make the preview larger.) Assuming it looks good, click on the "print" icon,
select "ok" and voila!

Hope this helps!
Steve
