Before and After Snapshot of the registry

I would like to make a reg component of all the Visual Settings and
other settings that I like to use.

I'm aware that some people like to use some type of before and after
snapshot tool to compare the difference, after you've made some
changes that affect the registry.

What are some of these tools that you find useful when you have a lot
of registry changes to make at run-time?

Is there a tool that automates the differences into a reg file?

Any thoughts?

Search the Web for RegSnap. Great tool and the registry diff you get in .reg folder that you can import in CD or import at run time
with regedit.exe.

Also, search for InCtrl5 utility. Although it doesn't get you the diff results in .reg format but only text/html.

There are lot more similar tools on the Web.

Some people use InCtrl5, but I find that near useless. It picks up lots of
entries that aren't relevant to what you need, requiring you to spend lots of
time filtering out the garbage.

Oh, and Sean, I'd love to try your solution out, but I'm only doing this for
a hobby at the moment. Having to train myself, since there is no training in
Oz.

Who says there is no training in Oz?
