hi there,

i have got a BEEP BEEP sound when my winxp go hibernate,
how to disable it, thx

michael

If this is not a normal system sound, such beeps are usually coming from the
motherboard and are an indication of some hardware problem. You need to
check your motherboard manual or contact your system manufacturer about this
issue.

it does not say on the menu
but i notice that this is not a system sound (windows sound)
and when i mute the speaker, it does not have the BEEP sound when i go
hibinate, so whats wrong with it
its a fujitsu notebook P1120

thanks for help

You likely have a hardware issue. If your owners manual does not have
information about the beeps, you need to have the notebook checked out by a
qualified technician. This cannot be fixed at system level and based on
what you describe it is not an XP issue. Such beeps as you describe
warnings from the motherboard, what those warnings mean varies by
motherboard. Hence, it needs to be checked out by a technician or by
Futitsu.
