Hi

I have a SBS 2003 Premium server and all client computers using Windows XP
Professional SP2. Is there a way I can have a common desktop wallpaper and
screen saver for all my users and also prevent them from changing it? Also, I
need to prevent them from downloading stuff. I know all these are possible,
but then again, will I have to carry out these tasks on individual PCs? Is
there a way I can get them done all in one go? I have some idea about doing
them on GPO, but can anyone make it more clear for me please? Like, where to
go and what all features has to be enabled/disabled, prevent them from
changing it, and will I be able to apply the same rules on all other
computers without running them manually on each one of them, etc? Thanks for
your time and concern. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Saajan.

Of course these things are possible, but it isn't possible to teach you
how to use your server to the fullest in newsgroup postings. Start by
doing some reading about the capabilities of your server at its home
page:

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/sbs/default.mspx

There is a wealth of information there to help you set up your system
correctly.

Then if you have specific questions, here are newsgroups for SBS and
group policy:

microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs
microsoft.public.windows.group_policy
