How do I go about converting a back-end A97 dbase to Access2000. I've converted the front-end without difficulty, but the back-end returns the msg: "Record(s) cannot be read; no read permission on Tables". Btw I'm learning about these more advanced techniques from you 'MVP's' and other on-line sources. Help much appreciated. Thanks in advance

PS. I'm trying to keep things up-to-date/accessible, and am assuming that 'back-ends' are updated.

A possible "work around" would be to create a new, empty A2K database, then
import all the objects from the A'97 back-end.

Sign of corruption and Jeff's advice is the first thing I'd suggested
anyhow.
