BDD XP OEM install

I want to deploy XP PRO service with srvpk 3 on new systems that are coming
in from Dell. I have fifty coming in and my support is out on sick leave. I
will be installing windows server 2K8 with that network in the hopes of
beginning to increase the security for that network. I want to use the
deployment services on these systems but I do not know if it will work with
OEM versions of the operating system. I have heard I can use BDD with server
2K3 and 2K8? Any body got the skiny on my issues? Can I use DS with OEM
operating systems and how do I do it?

Yes. Use the same method in sysprep for entering the serial number of
XP as you do with the retail or Microsoft Volume License CD serial.
Don't try to use one with the other, however. ERROR! :)
