BDCs in A.D.

Hi all

In order to remove a BDC from a Win2k hybrid domain (non-native) is it
enough to use the AD Users/Computers or should I first remove from the
domain the BDC using the NT-style Server Manager?

Is there a KB article about this?

You may use the ADUC to do this.

NT4 BDC can't be deleted that way. You can use NT4 style Server Manager or

You would need to pop the useraccountcontrol attribute first and tell it is
a normal member and not a DC. ADUC does a check to make sure you don't
"accidently" delete domain controllers that way.
