I am currently using BCM2003 on XP 32. I just got a new computer with
Vista64. Will my current Office2003/BCM2003 work on this new computer? If
not, what alternatives do I have to get access to all of my previous BCM data?

BCM 2003, earlier than v2 SP4 are not supported on Vista. Principally
because Sql Server 2000 is not offically supported on Vista. BCM v2
SP4 added support for Sql Server 2005 SP1 (or SP2, don't recall now),
which is supported on Vista. However, when Vista was released, users
reported that their BCM and Sql kept working after upgrading their
machines to Vista - BCM probably does not use any the Sql features
that had problems on Vista.

I recall that many of the changes in v2 Sp4 addressed changes in the
Windows security model. If you want to share your BCM database over
the network, you should probably go wit a later version of BCM, or be
prepared configure Vista security features manually.

You best bet is always to use the latest version of Outlook and BCM
(2007 SP1), because that'll have the most bug fixes, etc.

So, does that mean that BCM2007 is certified to run on Vistax64? If so, I
will get it. I just don't want to go to that expense just to find out that
there are still problems.

As a rule, all Office programs, and most Windows programs - at least
those those that run on Vista 32 - run on Vista 64.
