I bought Office 2003 mainly because of the appeal of BCM.
I installed the upgrade and the BCM. I have a reasonably
new computer with 512 MB memory and enough power to run it
all. With the BCM I had many problems including the
significan slowdown of all processes while in Outlook. It
also had a mind of it's own in that it switched between
phonebooks (from Bus Contacts to Contacts)at random
times. I found the benefits to be minimal compared to the
problems. Simply listing emails without designation of
incoming or outgoing, all with the same "principal" was
not helpful. I have uninstalled BCM and am much
happier .... albeit almost $300 poorer for the
experience. Not to mention about 50 hours of fooling
around. Just thought I'd mention it.
