BCM - very very unstable

I just got a copy of BCM 2 days ago. Installed it and it looks great. This would be a major tool for me to use - I so want to like it. However, here's what happened so far

1) Installed on Wednesday - everything cool. Set up accounts, contacts, opportunities
2) Thursday boot the machine and BCM just isn't there - accounts etc are but no business tools menu and I keep getting form not found errors. Hmm
3) Install ALL Office 2003 updates (I was a little behind), restart Outlook, BCM is there but many array and form errors (I now know this is a caching issue but I didn't)
4) Delete all accounts. Uninstall BCM and reinstall from scratch. Works great. Bounce Outlook and machine a couple of times just to check. No problems
5) Start it up today - everything fine until I try to add an Account. It just does nothing. Thanks to Sue's help I can set up business contacts by ctrl-dragging but when I click the new contact button I get "The form required to view this message cannot be displayed. Contact your administrator.

I apologise if this looks like a rant but I really would like to get BCM working - it would save me a lot of time and help me work better. However, it just seems really really unstable. Is there anything I can do to make it reliable

FWIW, here's hardware & software profil
2.8 GHz P 4 with half gig of ra
XP Pro (latest updates
Full install of Office 2003 (all updates
I'm the only user account and I have full admin rights

Help?

I would try starting with a new Outlook profile. You can refer to the same
database you already started working on. #5 is also a forms cache problem
symptom, so clear the cache. Other ideas:

-- If you don't see the Business Tools menu, BCM probably failed to load
when Outlook started. Run Regedit and go to the
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Addins\Microsoft.BusinessSolutions.eC
RM.OutlookAddin.Connect.1 key. If the value for LoadBehavior is something
other than 3, make a backup of the registry, edit LoadBehavior to set it to
3, then restart Outlook.

-- If you get errors during setup, if BCM does not load even after you edit
the LoadBehavior registry value, or if the database does not load, you
should initiate a support incident with Microsoft at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;en-us;incidentsubmit. You
will need a .Net Passport, but there should be no charge for filing the
request for help if you have a retail version of Office.
