We are a small 3 person office who is trying to share on our internal network
a single database. We thought that BCM was going to do the trick for us, but
we have been unsuccessful in getting it to work - even after following the
HELP directions in BCM. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for your
help!

We are using XP Pro...
I did one of the online intro classes yesterday to see if I could see
something I was doing wrong, and it appears that it is for some reason not
reading our network properly or something like that.

One word - firewalls.

Turn off firewall services from Microsoft, McAfee, Symantec (Norton) etc. on
the host machine that has the BCM database and try again. The fastest way to
do this is by going to "Start -> Run -> Services.msc -> OK" and stopping the
relevant services. If that works, then you need to configure exceptions in
your firewall software to enable BCM to be shared properly.
