BCM running in Vista

I'm running the latest BCM in Windows XP SP2 with Office 2007. I rely on it
heavily for scheduling everything. I'd love to be able to run my Vista
Business edition which is on another partition of the drive, but when I run
BCM in Vista I constantly get a message stating that "BCM could not complete
the last task" then Outlook fails and restarts. Makes it a little tough to
get work done.

Any Suggestions?

Have just installed bcm on vista laptop with 2003 office.
get a "version missmatch" error when loading Word, Exel or any of the office
suite
going to uninstall BCM.

unfortunately uninstalling BCM is not an option for me as all records
regarding clients are tracked using BCM

Andrew:

I had a similar problem and created a new Profile in Control Panel, Mail. I
connected the same PST and BCM file but the profile must have been
corrupted. As soon as I started using the new one, the messages stopped.

This was after doing a Check for Errors on the BCM db and a scanpst on the
PST file...

Lon

Hi Lon

I was just reviewing your website and I am considering purchasing your
material, however I can not get BCM to work at a decent speed and without
constant errors. I have been going everywhere to fix the problem and have
downloaded as many updates as I could find from Microsoft. Any ideas on how I
can get it to work as fast as the online demo from Microsoft?

I would appreciate your help.

Darryl:

Thanks much! You've got big questions and I'm not sure I have all the
answers... I'd be glad to discuss it with you offline -- please call me at
your convenience. My generic answer to you is this: your real world
scenario will always be less pristine and more complicated than Microsoft's
demo environment!

Thanks,
Lon

I have having similar problems until the SQL DB just quit. I then discovered that a SQL Express patch needed to be applied to work effectively with Vista.
