What is the difference between these 2 products? Are they meant to be used
in conjunction with one another, or is the online version just a watered down
version of BCM 2007.

Thanks for any info.

Kevin:

They were originally supposed to synch with each other but MS pulled that at
the last minute. So, now it's just a confusing situation. I believe in the
latest Office Live version they've changed the name back to Contacts instead
of Business Contact Manager.

Other people have tried to link them but it's really hard. I would say
"either/or".

Lon

I guess for me I would prefer to use BCM integrated with outlook as opposed
to a solution via the web. Is there anything important, that you are aware
of, that the office live version offers that BCM does not. The main
difference(advantage) that I see is office live can be accessed from multiple
locations.

Thanks again,

Kevin

The Office Live doesn't offer anything for contact management or opportunity
management that is better than BCM. They add SharePoint-like workspaces and
workflow that BCM doesn't have and there's a semi-integrated website that
can get data directly from a webform into the contact manager.

Lon
