Hello
If have installed office 2007 and bcm 2007. during the installation my bcm
2003 db has been upgraded to 2007. All is running good.

BUT: if i will open a business contact -> outlook ended wtith the message
"..outlook has a problem...".
This occurs also, if i only click on an item in the list of my contacts.

If have nearly 200 contact's.
The Error occurs by at least 10 of these - but not on all. Perhaps 20 or so
i can open.

Thanks.

You can have alook in the Windows Application event log to see if
there's a more specific message.

Otherwise, you can try calling Microsoft support to see if there's any
logging you can turn on to get a more detailed error message about
what's going wrong with those contacts.

I'm sorry BCM is giving you trouble. Here are some suggestions:

A. Enable logging in Help, About, then search for "[E]" (without the quotes)
in %temp%\bcmlog_v3.

B. Or, if you want to try again:
1. Enable logging
2. Connect to your V2 database and let BCM migrate the data for you (as you
did before)
3. check the log for errors. If none...
4. Try again to access the contacts that failed. If still not working...
5. Check the log again for new errors.

C. You should also try Database Tools, Manage Database, Check for Errors.

D. You can also contact support at
http://support.microsoft.com/common/international.aspx?rdpath=1&gprid=11335.
Depending on how you acquired Office 2007, free support may be available to
you.

Short answer is, this should have worked. Please let me know if (and how)
the problem was resolved.

Thank you,
Chris
