BCM 2007 errors

i have a problem running bcm 2007 sp2 on vista business. the thing is that a
client has lots of big archive .pst files.
outlook 2007 works fine, but when i install bcm2007, i connect to the remote
sql 2005 and everything looks ok, but when i try to open one archive i get an
error not enough memory to do something (something like this, the error is
localized in my language sl-si)

when i deinstall bcm 2007 outlooks works fine again.

i tried to to the regedit change as written in:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/907651
but with no success. now the client can't access the bcm database.

this guy has the same problem:

please help.
 
Hi David

Right click on the deleted items under Business contact manager > go to
properties > auto archive > uncheck "Do not archive items in this folder"

hi, thanks for your reply, but you missed the point. :)
i can't open the business contact manager thing (in the left panel, where
all the archive***.psts and personal folders are.)
the thing is i can't open (expand) any folders or subfolders under personal
folders, or in any archive. i get always the error not enough memory.

after uninstalling bcm, everything works fine.
then i removed all the archive psts and left only the main outlook.pst (5gb)
reinstalled bcm and still can't expand any subfolder under the personal
folders.
i can open the inbox, but if i want to click on some other folders, i get
the error not enough memory again.

Didi you find a way to get BCM running?

nope,
but i uninstalled bcm, put all the archives *.pst back in outlook. and now
the client slowly creates new empty archives and tries to limit the folders
and sub folder.
but is a pain in the lower back, since noone ...not even the guys who coded
bcm, knows the max amount of folders and subfolders, or the number of
messages that causes this out of memory error.


sugarcrm/mysql all the way from now on.

Hi david,

thanks for your reply! Our user has more than 1000 folders/subfolders in his
account, so we couldn't go this way without knowing how many folders would
work without problems.

Does anybody know if there will be a patch/workaround in the near future? Is
Microsoft still working on this issue?
