David

I have a large "Group" of contacts in my e-mail address
book.
If I wish to send an e-mail to all of them, can I just put
one recipient's name in the "to" box, and then put the
Group name in the BCC box, or do I have to enter all the
names in the BCC box individually ?

I want to hide all the other names.

Thanks

David.

Best as in a newsgroup that supports the email client you are using.

Most people don't use Word for their email. You have posted your
question on a Word newsgroup. Further, you don't say what email client
(program) you are using ... it could be Outlook, Outlook Express,
Eudora, Mozilla, (and the list goes on and on).

If you need help with email, and you want to use newsgroup help, then
address it to the "right" newsgroup.

Another thing you might try is looking at "help" in the email
application that you ar using and read about how it handles email to
group distributin lists.
