Need more info..What were you doing at teh time../ HAve you checked event logg to see if owt is showing went wrong..?
 
i got a blue screen after leaving my laptop inactive for a couple of minutes.

it said windows xp had shut down to prevent a serious error from occuring.

Did you have any programs running at the time..? Have you checked event log ??? Usually the first place to start...
