What does Bcc mean?

Can I send a group email by bcc so that the recipient only sees one name?

It means "blind carbon copy." If you put the addresses into Bcc, you cannot guarantee what the users will see. Some may see their own name, some something else. It depends on their mail software.

If you want to guarantee that recipients see their own name, use mail merge to send individual messages.

Blind Carbon Copy. If you put a group in the BCC field, the recipeint will
not see any names unless you also put an address in the To field.

Blind Carbon Copy.
Put addresses there and recipients will see _no_ names.
