Hi. Ian. Its an Acer swift 3. It was working fine then suddenly wouldn't power in. I've tried various fixes but still same issue. It probably is the battery but its just that it suddenly stopped and had no battery issues previously. Thank you

It could also be the jack on the laptop that the power supply plugs into.

Ideally, I'd see if you can find someone else with the same laptop and see if their battery works in your laptop. If it's cheap enough to buy one, could be worth a shot.

My wife’s Samsung laptop needs the battery connections cleaning every now and again it cures the problem for her.
