I have a lot of photo's I want to put on a site and was wondering if
there's a program that can batch convert thumbnail photo's to a link
for each photo?
I use Irfranview for batch convert for size ,thumbnail and re-name but
do I have to manually link each photo?
How do sites with lots of photo's do this?
TIA

CD2HTML - Program information

CD2HTML is a very handy Win98/NT/Me/2000/XP program which automatically
creates clear and fully configurable HTML pages out of directories and
files. The collected information can be used together with CD2HTMLs own
script language to create your own HTML templates. CD2HTML can create
links, thumbnails/icons of pictures and files, extract information from MP3
files (file information plus reading and writing the ID3 tag), descriptions
and if applicable, the index of files even within archive files (supports
internal Zip/UnZip/UnRAR).

Very useful for Internet/Intranet administrators and people who want to
index their CD's, because it's also possible to print CD-covers and export
them to *.EMF format (Enhanced MetaFile).

It works very well.

Hi that program also has a thumbnail genrator that will generate an html
page of thumnails with the links to the photos. I think you can get that
sub-part of the program to put the photos used for the thumbnail page into
a "folder" at the same time.
Good luck I love infraview.

Irfanview does this. From thumbnail mode, select all the ones you wish
to be on the page, then select file / save as html.

I have used Batch Thumbs for a while now.
Its easy, you select the full sized images, it makes the thumbnails, and
makes all the HTML and internal links. Could not be easier

Name is a bit offputting, but its OK, and I notice there is a later
version on there, that I am downloading now too.

If you want to do this on a web site you could try Gallery

Which I have yet to play with much, "apparently" it allows people to
post pictures and do some editing via the web browser. It all looks a
bit hard for me. I got it half installed, but need to bang my head on a
wall for a while longer before I get it sorted.
