Hi

i am a newbie.

I want to automate backing up to a cd player and burn to
CD.

I want to create a folder on c: drive called backups.

Then i want to copy all of my data from c drive to this
folder.

Then i want to burn this data from the folder to the cd
player.

I want to be able to do a multisession CD burn.

I am using windows 2000 and i am using Roxio Easy CD
Creator.

Can anyone help me to write a simple batch file i can
just double click on my desktop and it will start the
burn process?

How is this done?

Do Roxio products support it ???

Take a look at Golden Hawk (DAO32* command line tools and CDR-Win 3.x tools)
Nero also has command line interface.

To end there is mkISOfs and cdrecord tools, ported from Linux to Win32.
It may appear harder to use but it is free.

Ahh forgot MS tool for making ISO images.
It work only on WinNT (including Win2000) and makes ISO image, though can't
burn it w/o additional tools.
More so it is almost the only program for Win, supporting shortcuts
(multiple names for single file on CD) - and is usually found by searching
for such discussions.
