Our company intranet is a static site set up with a HTML
frontend linked to hundreds of Word documents.
These Word documents all contain hyperlinks to intranet
pages. The links are currently set up as
http://hy/intranet/projects/imsm/filename.doc
We need to restructure so the "imsm" folder (containing
the majority of Word douments) is outside the projects
folder and at the same level as the projects folder.
i.e. the hyperlinks in the Word documents all need to be
edited to read:
http://hy/intranet/management_system/filename.doc
Can anyone advise a method of batch processing all Word
documents on the intranet to change these hyperlinks?
Or can we somehow, in a single operation, find all
hyperlinks in all documents in all folders and replace the
term "projects/imsm" with "Management_System"?
