basic slideshow build

is there an easy way to put several pic files together in a .pps slideshow
with music? i've tried everything - and it's too hard. i've inserted from
file. but then i have to re-size every picture. then, how do i save to a
..pps show - there's no option for this. last, where do i associate a music
file with the show? plz help. thanks!

Which version of PowerPoint are you using? There are several options for
doing what you want... In general, Format rectangle objects to fill with the
photos you want. When you've filled an object once, duplicate it (or
duplicate the slide), then fill the dupe with a new photos. They'll all take
on the size of the object.

In addition to the advise Sandy gave you. Consider using this add-in, it
will allow you to import pictures easily, you can define your own layout. If
you have to do this regulary, a time-saver.
