Basic Printing question

Hello,

I continue to have issues using different printers and am looking for some
help. Basically, I'm looking at how to adjust settings so that all my print
jobs are run in my application and then sent to the printer. I'd like to be
able to exit my application and work on other things, but I have to wait for
the printer to complete. When I'm at a different computer, it does this, so
I'm assuming it's a simple setting that I could really use some help on.

Try the setting "spool the entire document before printing". The spooler
must (obviously) be enabled. You may have additional problems, depending
upon the printer drivers, the amount of available storage on the hard drive,
and available RAM.
Since you seem to be using multiple printers, it's possible that you may
have problems with printer monitor modules. Usually, these can be disabled
in the printer's driver options.
